What you’ll do
AstraZeneca is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive engagement and growth within medical and treatment centres across North West Hungary, Budapest (only Buda side) and Pest County for our lung medicine portfolio. This is an outstanding opportunity for a results-driven professional with a specialist background and strong business acumen to join a Global Pharmaceutical leader.
Duties:
- Center Relationship Management: Manage assigned medical centers/institutions, introducing AstraZeneca’s featured products
- Specialist Engagement: Visit centers regularly, meeting with healthcare specialists and key decision-makers to understand medical needs
- Business Development: Proactively identify business opportunities and present tailored value propositions in line with center goals and needs
- Strategic Collaboration: Cultivate long-term, strategic partnerships with members of the brand team, Decision-Making Units (DMU), and other key stakeholders
- Annual Planning: Prepare and execute a third annual KAM plan, aligning center activities with long-term strategic objectives
- Congress Participation: Represent AstraZeneca’s lung medicine portfolio at national and regional congresses
- Administrative & Compliance: Complete all administrative tasks and attend mandatory company trainings
Expectations:
- Ideal candidates would have a background in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, biology, or health sciences education.
- Experience working in a hospital setting with specialist Doctors essential, experience in the field of pulmonary medicine is an advantage.
- Experience in key account management.
- Possesses sales technical skills and a partner-oriented negotiation technique.
- Conversational level of English language essential.
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Driving experience and willingness to travel within a large territory.
